Hulliday and Spurn Point

Me and Mr Crafty Blueberry enjoyed our night in Hull in May so much we booked another two nights in early July. It suits us well for a break, with nice places to eat and drink, free attractions, attractive buildings, independent shops, charity shops, a market and placed to visit outside the city.

Our favourite Hull thing to do is walking around the marina and by the water after dinner, especially when the sky and water look this good:

We stayed on the top floor of the Premier Inn and had a great view:

We took the opportunity to make our first proper visit to Spurn Point. It was hot, sunny and bright. What an amazing place; absolutely heavenly. I loved the weirdness of the place, standing on a narrow strip of land pointing out into the sea.

We went to the Hull and East Riding Museum of Archaeology, one of several excellent quality free museums in Hull. There was so much to see and you're greeted by a mammoth called Monty.
