We were fortunate enough to get some time out of the UK Winter with a holiday in Fuerteventura at Caleta de Fuste. We stayed in the Barcelo Fuerteventura Mar and it was a great experience; right by the beach, great food and drink, lots of cats, doves and chipmunks to meet nearby and sunshine. Also a lot of wind, but it was the hours and hours of daylight that mattered and which left me feeling reinvigorated.
I live looking back at past holidays on this blog so am posting this so that I can do just that.

We're planning to go back to the same place at the same time next year and get another dose of much needed mid-Winter sunshine.
